Itinerary

Welcome to your ‘Ladakh Delight Ex-Delhi’ Group Tour. On arrival, you will be met by our representative. The rest of the day is for rest and acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). Overnight stay in Leh. (Meals: Hi-tea with Cookies and Dinner)

Post breakfast we drive towards Kargil Road and start our sightseeing with the Hall of Fame near Leh. It is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by the Indian army. Further on we proceed to Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km takes us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers 4 km before Nimmu village. .After visiting the above places we drive back to Hotel for Overnight Stay. The rest of the evening is at leisure for Independent activities.

This morning, drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as Dorma or “the valley of flowers” via Khardungla Pass - the world’s highest motorable road (5602 mts). On arrival, check in to the camp.
Later in the afternoon, visit the Diskit Monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh. Thereafter, visit the white dunes at Hunder, where you can enjoy the double-humped bacteria camel ride (ride on a direct payment basis). The rest of the evening is at leisure for Independent activities. Overnight in Nubra Valley. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

This morning after breakfast, proceed to Pangong Tso - a lake which is 134 km long and extends from India to Tibet, 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. During winter, the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. En route, visit Shyok River & Durbuk. Before reaching Pangong Lake, you will pass through the Changla, a high mountain pass, and the world’s 3rd highest motorable road. It is on the route to Pangong Lake from Leh. The name means "Pass towards the South" or "Pass in the South" (Chang = south, La = Pass). On arrival, check in to the camp. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Pangong.

In the early morning, enjoy the picturesque view of Sunrise on the lake. After Breakfast, drive back to Leh, en-route visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Our driver will drop you at Leh Market where you can explore yourself. Overnight stay in Leh. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Today, bid farewell to your ‘Ladakh Delight Ex-Delhi’ Group Tour, as you are transferred to the airport in Leh for your onward journey.

Inclusions

Return airfare in economy class Ex-Delhi.
Accommodation in the hotels listed or similar.
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner (Starting with Dinner on Day1 and ending with breakfast on Day7)
Transportation: All transfers and sightseeing on a SIC basis by non-AC Tempo Traveller as per the group size and availability. The vehicle is as per the itinerary and not at disposal.
Note: Vehicle will be provided depending on the count of pax traveling together.
2 Bottles of mineral water every day per person.
Restricted permit fee for visiting Pangong Lake.
Complimentary Camel ride in Nubra.

Any train or bus fare from/to your originating city of stay, unless specified.
Any meals / en route meals unless specified.
Items of personal nature viz, tips, porterages, room service, laundry, mineral water, alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages, phone calls, pony/horse rides, rafting, cable car/ropeway rides, helicopter rides, additional sightseeing tours/excursions not included in the itinerary, still or video camera fees, etc.
Any increase in fuel cost, government taxes, entrance fees, intra and interstate taxes, etc, the tour price will be amended in accordance.

Terms & Conditions

The transfers & sightseeing will be on a sharing basis, seats will be shuffled daily.
Guests coming from other Hubs need to arrive one day before Departure.
The hotel will be subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
Leh is located in a high Altitude region, we suggest you get Fitness checked by your Doctors to avoid any circumstances during the tour.
We suggest the minimum age required to travel on this tour is 5 years.
Senior citizens and parents traveling with their children, we request you to check with doctors before traveling.
We shall provide you with an Oxygen cylinder during your tour towards Nubra and Pangong for the group.
Guest can take personal Oxygen cylinders on a hire basis as well from Day 1.
Carry Heavy woolen & Thermal wear on tour.
Please avoid smoking and Drinking Alcohol during the tour.
Due to infrastructure limitations at Nubra and Pangong, we shall provide Camps for accommodation.
Only post-paid connections work in Ladakh. For a better network carry a BSNL/MTNL post-paid connection.
